The Bernard Lyot Telescope (TBL, diameter 2m), located on the observation platform of the Pic du Midi de Bigorre (altitude 2877m) is a national telescope labeled « National Observing Service » INSU SNO3. The TBL is managed by the Observatoire Midi Pyrénées (UAR831).

It hosts at its home an Echelle spectropolarimeter, NeoNarval, stabilized in pressure and temperature since 2019 and it will host by 2024 an infrared spectropolarimeter, SPIP, copy of the instrument SPIRou (CFHT).

TBL is operated in full service mode. It offers 300 clear hours in semester A (March to August) and 400 clear hours in semester B (September to February).
